THEATRE:

How’s this for the title of a show that’s playing in New York at different venues? THE BEST SEX OF THE XX CENTURY SALE. It gets one’s attention. Written by Lissa Moira and Richard West and directed by Moira, it’s a zany “Hellzapoppin” show full of hilarious parodies with a big cast of ridiculousness. Its sexual innuendoes are somehow done in a fresh clean way as they satirize Hollywood and everything else. The bits are short, the writing and performances are funny and absurd, the good-looking cast is loaded with talent. Saturday Nite Live wishes it could have a cast and writer like this. Its brashness is unfailingly entertaining. Forget “Capeman” and “Ragtime.” This is ENTERTAINMENT.
